Privacy policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

The short version: your plan is saved in your own browser, not on our servers. If you use the assistant or the document check, what you send is passed to Claude (made by Anthropic) to get an answer, and we don't keep it. If you send us feedback, we keep your answers to improve the app. We don't sell your data, show ads or use tracking cookies.

Who we are

Pawperwork is run by [LEGAL NAME], based in Aveiro, Portugal. We're responsible for your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

What we collect, and why

Our legal basis

Who we share data with

Both may process data outside the EU. Where that happens, transfers are covered by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We don't sell or rent personal data to anyone.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your plan is saved with your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time in your browser settings or with "Start a blank plan".

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email [CONTACT EMAIL]. Because we don't keep your plan, chats or documents, the only things we may hold are feedback you sent us and requests for a human check. You can also complain to Portugal's data protection authority, the CNPD, or the authority where you live.

Age

Pawperwork is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If we change how we use data, for example when we add accounts or payments, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
