Pawperwork

Terms of use

Last updated 26 October 2026

The short version: Pawperwork helps you organise your pet's paperwork and catch mistakes. It isn't a vet, a government agency or an airline, and they have the final say. Always confirm the rules with them before you travel.

About these terms

Pawperwork is run by Paulino Rui Cardoso Jr., Aveiro, Portugal (contact: hello@pawperwork.app). By using Pawperwork you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older to buy a pass or create an account. Anyone can use the free plan.

What Pawperwork does

Information, not official advice

Your responsibilities

Accounts

If you unlock a pass, your plan and pass are saved to an account linked to your email, so you can use them on any device. You sign in with a one-time link or code we email to you; keep access to that email account private. You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen, and accounts unused for 12 months are deleted.

Paid features

A pass is for one specific move or trip, so you'll be asked for your route, arrival date and pets before buying. For an Expert review, we reply within 2 working days of receiving your documents.

Planned prices: a Move Pass or Trip Pass is €49 and covers all your pets on that move or trip. Expert review is €99 for up to 2 pets, plus €25 for each extra pet.

During testing, paid features are free to try and nothing is charged. Before we start charging, we'll publish the prices, what's included and your rights, including the EU right of withdrawal for digital services.

Liability

We work hard to make Pawperwork accurate and useful, but we can't guarantee your pet will be accepted for travel or entry. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses caused by changed rules, decisions by authorities or airlines, or information you didn't double-check. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Portuguese or EU law, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes and availability

We may update Pawperwork and these terms. If we make an important change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We may pause or change features, especially while the service is being tested.

Law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protections of your own country's consumer law.
