Accessibility statement
The short version: we want everyone to be able to plan a pet move or trip with Pawperwork, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or dark mode. If something gets in your way, tell us and we'll fix it or help you another way.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
- Every page works with a keyboard, and a "Skip to content" link at the top jumps past the menu.
- Buttons, links and form fields have names a screen reader can read out.
- Text and buttons have enough contrast, in light and dark mode. Pages follow your device's dark mode setting.
- Pages fit small phone screens and still work when you zoom in.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the planner doesn't animate.
- The site is in English and European Portuguese, and dates and units follow your choice.
How we check
We run an automated accessibility check (axe) on every page, in light and dark mode at phone size, and walk through the planner with a keyboard. The last full check was on 28 October 2026, and we fixed what it found.
What we know isn't perfect yet
- The document check reads photos of your certificates with AI. It needs pictures, and it can misread faint or handwritten pages. If you can't use it, email us and we'll help.
- Automated checks don't catch everything, and we haven't yet tested with every screen reader.
Tell us about a problem
